Terms of Service — Mathorama

By downloading or using Mathorama, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Mathorama is a mental maths practice game for learners and families. The app stores progress on your device unless we add cloud features later (we will update these terms if we do).

2. Accounts and profiles

You may create local player profiles (display name and avatar). These are not verified online accounts.
You are responsible for content you enter in profile names (keep it appropriate).
Children should use the app with a parent or guardian where local law requires supervision.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer or abuse the app to cheat, scrape, or disrupt others.
Use the app for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to bypass ads, analytics, or safety controls in production builds.

4. Advertising and analytics

The app may show ads (Google AdMob) and use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics as described in our Privacy Policy. Ad placement and frequency are designed to be conservative.

5. Intellectual property

Mathorama, its branding, art, and software are owned by the operator. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial play.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular educational outcome. Maths practice outcomes depend on the learner's effort and context.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
